A Wide Selection of Local and International Coffees
At 1000 Cups, you can choose from a variety of local and imported coffees, from the Mt. Elgon and the Rwenzori regions to Rwanda and Tanzania. You can have them in a cafetiere or as a latte or cappuccino. You can also try some exotic blends, such as Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk or the mysterious Starbucks blend. The prices are reasonable, ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 UGX per cup. You can also buy bags of coffee beans and ground coffee to take home for 10,000 UGX.
Simple food and delicious desserts
Besides coffee, 1000 Cups also offers simple foods such as hot and cold sandwiches, salads, and grilled goat or chicken. The food is not very impressive, but it is decent enough for a quick bite.
