The Patio Ntida: New restaurant in Kampala - 2022 review

For those of you who have been following us have probably noticed that we haven't had any reviews since 2021. And guess what? In 2022 we are going to have many reviews.

"I'm not sure of the pronunciation. The patee-yo or the pa-shual."

If you know the right pronunciation, kindly comment down below, and tell me how to pronounce it.

I just wanted to go and check out The Patio for the very first time. I wanted to check out their style, their food, the drinks, or whatever I will come across. And to let you know about it so you can decide for yourself.

The Patio is located along Ntinda Road, Kampala Uganda.

Subdued Music

First and foremost, I would like to commend the Patio For doing a great job, not playing very loud music. Most of these restaurants, in the evening, like to play very loud music. Where you get in a position, where by you have to compete with the music. I mean if you go with friends to maybe have dinner, and at the same time have a conversation, you may end up not being able to communicate with each other because you're competing with the loud music. Therefore I really want to thank them for that. You'll still enjoy the music and If you want to have a conversation, you'll still have your uninterrupted conversation. A thumbs up to them.

The Waiters and Waitresses

The other thing I would commend them about is the smartness of the waiters. As you know, I for one, I love it when I'm served by a very smart waiter or waitress. I feel so, you know, honoured and all that. So yes, the waiters and waitresses look very smart and clean.

Let's talk about the food.

The food is simply good. I talked to one of the waiters and he recommended what would be the best dish. And I told him I wanted the chicken that was on the menu. Although I was a bit disappointed when my order arrived because it looked crisp. I thought it would be a little rare. You see how a Caribbean Jerk Chicken looks? That is how I imagined my order was going to look. The chicken I had was called The Classic Half. To my surprise, it was yummy, I really enjoyed it. It came with some little mushroom soup on the side, but I felt like this was not enough. And because of that, I failed to finish my chicken. I have to pack it for home.

The potato chips were fine. Not so good, not bad, just okay.

I loved the plantain. Although it is not something you would want to eat over and over again. Yeah, you can go for the planting as well.

And finally the juice.

I love orange juice. It was really sweet, very fresh. You are doing a great job if you're reading this and you are working at The Patio.

Then my friend who had Pillao said It was really yummy, he had passion juice which as Great.

Final Note

To sum it up, The Patio is a beautiful place. I would recommend you to go there.

The Patio is open from 8:00am - 11:00pm from Monday to Sunday.

That was it about the review. Nothing much and I didn't see anything extraordinary. If there's anything that's in I would have told you about it, but it is just like any normal restaurant.

If you're staying in Bukoto, Bugolobi, Nagera, Kisaasi, why pass the patio and go to look for restaurants in town. Just branch over to the Patio and have fun, It basically has offers similar to what many other restaurants like the "Cafe Javas" are doing.

The prices

In total we spent Ush 124,000/= , a meal for two. My orange juice was my juice was Ush 20,000/= and The Classic Half (chicken) was Ushs 46,000/= and Plantain was Ushs 6,000/=.

Generally the prices range from Ushs 16,000/= to Ushs 60,000/=

If I where to rate The Patio on a scale of one to ten (1-10), I give it a seven.
